HELP ME THROUGH THIS CRISIS
The bills are mounting, Lord, and we have so many needs. You've given us much. We live in a land of freedom. We have running water, food, and a roof over our heads, but for how long? I try not to worry, but in trying not to, I think about it even more. Where will we go? What will we do? If we have to move to find work, what about the family and friends who may be left behind? Change seems more frightening than
exciting at this point.
Forgive me for worrying. I know it's wrong, and I want to do what's right. I want to be content in all circumstances, but I'm not there yet. I thank you that you look on the heart and know my inner most desire to trust you.
Please build my faith and develop my character so that I can bring help and comfort to my family through this difficult time. Help me to find you in unexpected places and in unexpected ways. Let me always be grateful for your provision, and help me to never take kindness for granted.
You are faithful, Lord, and have promised never to leave or forsake us. Let us know you presence more clearly than ever before. I ask this in Jesus' name.
