my Conscience"
Father God,
I know that scriptures
are our guiding direction for life. I have successfully used them over
and over to keep on track and lean on You. But Lord I also know that
sometimes the scriptures are "silent" regarding certain things. Teach
me to trust in my conscience in these matters. Just like all the senses
You have given us, our conscience fulfils a vital part of our direction
and safety. Help me to know that when I am feeling that "it is not
right" it probably isn't. Then give me the ability to follow that
feeling and steer clear of the sin that could mess up my life.
In Jesus name I ask this all,
Amen
But anyone who believes
that something he wants to do is wrong shouldn't do it he sins if he does,
for if he thinks it is wrong and so for
him it is wrong. Anything apart from what he feels is right is sin"
