"Love is..."   Dear Lord,   In reading the words of John this morning I noticed a descriptive word I did not remember seeing before. John writing down the words of Jesus talking about love used the word "strong" to describe their love for each other. But after speaking to them in this manner they seemed to have missed it because they were caught up in where was Jesus going, not about the lesson. Lord teach that lesson to me. Teach me that Love is not just warm feelings, and euphoria but an attitude that is revealed in actions. It's helping others when it's not convenient, it's giving when it pinches our own wallets, it's showing concern for other peoples problems when we have many of our own. Teach me that lesson Lord, teach me how to show my love for You to them.
