Prayers . . . for loved ones, friends, and strangers

PRAYER AS AN AMBULANCE PASSES

Lord,  I hear the wailing sirens and see the flashing lights of emergency vehicles.  Someone's life is in crisis right now. Please meet them at his point of need, and whatever the outcome, bring them closer to you.  If they're not saved, turn their hearts to you.  If they're a wandering child of yours, use this incident to bring them back to your loving arms.  If they're living daily in your love, surround them right now with your presence.

Reassure and comfort those involved -- the victim, their family and friends, and the rescuers.  Keep the rescue workers safe and give them wisdom as they make life-and-death decisions. Guide their minds and strengthen their bodies and spirits.

I know you are in charge of life's circumstances, even   when I don't understand them.  I praise you that your ways are perfect and that you are love.  In Jesus' name,

 Amen.

As for God, his way is perfect;

the word of the LORD is flawless.

He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. "
