Fear

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee;

be not dismayed; for I am thy God:

I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea,

I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Isaiah 41:10

Dear Father, You have told me to not fear because You are with me, You uphold me, and You sustain me.  I choose to trust in You instead of becoming fearful.  Your Word says that though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Your rod and staff comfort me.

I will not be afraid of bad news, because You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.  You give me strength and courage to handle any situation.  You have promised that You would never leave me or forsake me.

I will not let the spirit of fear overtake me, for I choose not to give fear any place in my life.  I stand strong in faith, and I choose to believe Your Word instead of the lies of the enemy.

In Your Word I find peace, wisdom, and instruction for any situation.  Your Word says that You have given me power, love, and a sound mind.  I will consider Your Word above the fear that tries to overtake me.  When I am tempted to fear, I will look to You.  In You, Lord, I am strong and fearless.

In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen

"The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer,

my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;

my buckler, and the horn of my salvation,

and my high tower."

Psalm 18:2
